Q. What level of computer knowledge do I as a client need to have?

As long as you have access to a computer that can surf the internet and as long as you know how to use email you are fine. We will take care of the rest.
We would however strongly recommend that you invest in a broadband connection if you have not done so already.


Q. How much input do you need from me?

As much or as little as suits you. If you can provide your own digital photographs and text, all well and good. If not, we can help.


Q. What if I have a website already?

If you have a website already that you feel needs changing in any way please contact us.
We'll have a look at it and discuss how we can help.


Q. What are your prices for working on an existing website?

You can safely use the price list on our home page as a guide. In practice it is just as labour intensive working on an existing site as a new one.


Q. Are the prices you advertise what I will actually pay?

Our advertised prices are a very good guide, however here is a list of features that can push up the overall cost:

• if the site needs a LOT of extra photographs to be sourced
• if the site is running a dedicated online shop
• if we have to compose a large amount of written site content on behalf of the client
• if the client would like any of the following: a blog, guest book, flash animation, extra email addresses

Q. How much do you charge for maintaining a site once it is up and running to my satisfaction?

We always treat each client on a case by case basis and discuss this subject at the very beginning. However a good guideline is about £20 per hour.


Q. What do I have to pay in the future?

1. If we are hosting your website:

At the end of the first year you pay just £25 inc vat per .uk website.

This is an annual fee which covers:

• full web hosting, continued domain registration, use of email address

This fee is then payable annually.

2. If your site is hosted by your own provider:

You pay absolutely nothing!


Q. How long will it take to get my new site up and running?

Obviously this depends on the size of the project and how prepared you are with your content.
In an emergency we can have a three page site on the internet in 7 days. A more usual timeframe is two to four weeks.


Q. How long will it be before my site is picked up by the major search engines?

This can take six to ten weeks.


Q. I need your help. What should I do now?

Just contact us via a contact form or email and we'll reply within 24 hours.
